Questions about the estimate
I'm not sure my project's big enough to bother you with. Is there a minimum?
Most of our projects start around $5,000. If yours is smaller, call us anyway and we'll tell you right away whether it's a fit.
I just filled out the form. What happens now?
We read your request, then call you at the number you gave us to talk it through. If it sounds like a fit, we set a time to walk the property together.
Do I need drawings or plans before I ask for an estimate?
No. Photos, a rough idea and a few measurements help, but we can start from a conversation. For commercial build-outs and custom homes, bring any plans you already have to the site walk.
My landlord has to approve our build-out. Can you still price it before that's settled?
Yes. We can walk the space, write up the scope and estimate, and you can share it with your landlord or property manager. If their requirements change the scope, we update the estimate.
We're in the middle of an insurance claim. Can the estimate go to our adjuster?
Yes. We prepare an itemized repair scope and estimate you can share with your insurance company, and we can coordinate with the adjuster on the repairs.
Is the estimate actually free, or is there a catch?
It's free. We walk the site, talk through the work and give you a written scope and estimate before anything starts. You decide from there.
I work all day. Can we meet early in the morning or later in the afternoon?
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, so early and late visits are usually possible. Tell us what works for you when we call.
I don't know if my project needs a permit. Will you tell me?
We'll talk about it during the site walk. Whether a permit is needed and who issues it depends on the work and on where the property is, since cities and the county each have their own building departments.
Can I get one estimate for a kitchen and a bathroom at the same time?
Yes. We can scope both in one visit and put them in one written estimate, so you can see the whole project and decide what to do first.
We're out past Fresno, in Madera Ranchos. Will you still come out for an estimate?
Yes. We work throughout Fresno County and Madera County, including rural and unincorporated areas like Madera Ranchos. Send the address with your request and we'll set up a visit.
