Bathroom Remodels questions
Our only bathroom is the one getting remodeled. How do we get through that?
It takes some planning. We talk through the sequence so you know which stages put the room out of use, and many families line up a backup option ahead of time.
I want to swap the tub for a walk-in shower. Is that a big job?
It means demo, reworking the plumbing and new finishes, so it's a real project. We look at the drain and supply lines during the site walk and plan the shower around them.
Our bathroom's lighting is terrible. Can you add fixtures and outlets?
Yes. Electrical rough-in and finish, including lighting, are part of our bathroom remodels. We plan fixture locations along with the layout.
I'm tired of the dated vanity and tile. Can we update finishes and leave the plumbing where it is?
Yes, if the layout works for you. New countertops, flooring, drywall texture and hardware can change the room a lot while the lines stay put.
We'd like a double vanity in the primary bath. Is there room?
We measure during the site walk. Adding a second sink means extending the plumbing, which is handled as part of the project.
Can the ceiling texture be matched after it gets opened up?
Sheetrock hanging, tape, finish and texture are part of our work, including matching what's there now.
My parents are moving in with us. Can you make the bathroom easier for them to use?
Yes. We can talk about a lower shower entry, blocking in the walls for grab bars and a layout with more room to move. We look at the space and write it into the scope.
Who picks the faucets and towel bars?
You pick them, and we install them. Millwork and all hardware finishes are part of our bathroom remodels.
We've got two bathrooms that need work. Should we do both together?
Doing both at once lets demo, plumbing and electrical be planned together, and the finishes can match. If you'd like one bathroom usable longer, we can stage them.
