FAQ

Questions about our services

I'm not sure if my project counts as a remodel or an addition. Does it matter which one I ask about?

Not at the start. Describe what you want, and during the site walk we'll sort out whether it's a room remodel, a whole-house update or an addition. The written scope spells it out.

Our bathroom needs new plumbing and a new layout. Can you handle both in the same job?

Yes. Plumbing rough-in, top-out and finish are handled as part of our remodeling projects. The framing, sheetrock and finishes around them are part of the same job.

We'd like a bigger kitchen, and that probably means moving a wall. Who figures out the structure?

We plan the framing, electrical and plumbing together while writing the scope, so the new layout works as one project. If the change may need a permit or an engineer, we talk it through with you before work starts.

I own a restaurant space that needs a full build-out. Is that something you take on?

Yes. Our commercial tenant improvements include office, retail and restaurant build-outs, plus commercial interior renovation. We build to the plans for your space.

Our franchise sent us a thick brand standards manual. Can you build to it?

Franchise build-outs are part of our commercial work. We build to the brand's plans and standards, then walk the finished space with you at the end.

My home took damage and I've got an open claim. Which service is that under?

That's insurance property loss repair, and it covers homes and businesses. We write an itemized scope and estimate, coordinate with your adjuster and rebuild.

Can you take on only an electrical panel, or does it have to be part of a bigger job?

Electrical panel, rough-in and finish work is handled as part of our construction and remodeling projects. A panel that's one piece of a larger update is a good fit. Projects start around $5,000.

We've got an empty lot and want a new commercial building on it. Where does that start?

It starts with a conversation about what the building needs to do, then a visit to the lot. From there you get a written scope and estimate. Commercial new construction covers foundation and concrete, timber or metal stud framing and the finish trades.

Is one general contractor easier than hiring separate trades for a whole-house update?

With one general contractor, demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, sheetrock and finishes run on one plan. You have one point of contact and one written scope to follow.

The countertops and flooring are the parts I care about most. Can I pick those myself?

Yes. Countertops, floor finishes, millwork and hardware are part of what we install, and you make the choices. We go over options while writing the scope so the estimate reflects what you picked.
