We've lived here long enough to know what bugs us about the house. Where does a remodel start?
It starts with you telling us what bugs you. Then we walk the house, look at the structure and systems, and put a written scope and estimate together. Work begins once you're comfortable with it.
I'd like to remodel the kitchen and a bathroom in one project. Does that make sense?
Often it does. Plumbing and electrical rough-in can be planned together, and demo and cleanup happen in one stretch. You'll see both rooms laid out in the scope.
Our house needs more room and a better kitchen. Can one remodel cover an addition and an update?
Yes. Additions and kitchen remodels are both part of our work, and combining them lets the new space and the updated kitchen be planned as one layout.
I'm worried the remodel will uncover problems behind the walls. What happens then?
Older walls can hide surprises. If something comes up once the drywall is open, we stop, show you, and talk through options before any extra work happens.
Can you handle the plumbing and electrical too, or will I need to hire those out separately?
Plumbing and electrical are handled as part of our remodeling projects, from rough-in to finish. You work with one contractor for the whole remodel.
We want the house to feel updated but still feel like ours. How do you keep that balance?
We start with what you like about the house now. Trim, millwork and hardware finishes can respect the original character while the kitchen, baths and layout get updated.
Is it smarter to remodel the whole house at once, or should we go room by room?
Both approaches work. A whole-house update keeps the finishes consistent. Room by room spreads the work out. We talk through the tradeoffs after walking the house.
My budget's kinda tight. Can a remodel still be worth doing?
Projects start around $5,000. We can talk through which changes make the biggest difference in daily life, and the written estimate helps you decide what to do now.
Who picks out the countertops, flooring and hardware?
You choose the finishes. We handle countertops, floor finishes, millwork and hardware installation, and we can talk through what holds up well in each room.
